Casting Options at JIC

We, the team of JUST IN CAST, realize national-wide, project-orientated castings according to individual requirements. In doing so, we rely on a combination of the following, well-tested casting systems:

Selection from our extensive talent database

Facts

Step 1: Our team gathers a selection from our extensive talent database, tailored to your request. Whether it’s about visual features, age, origin, experience, or degree of training – we filter out the most suitable faces for you!
Step 2: You let us know who your favorites are and we will get in touch with them immediately!
Step 3: In case a standard selection from our comprehensive talent roster should not be sufficient for your requirements, we’ve got you covered with multiple options to get to the perfect cast. Find out more about those further below!

Live Casting / Video Casting

According to the client briefing, we initiate a casting call with various agencies from the respective region (or nation-wide if needed). Following this, we make a pre-selection from all the proposals we received and will send out the respective sed cards to the client. The client is then free to select their favorites so we can invite them to a live casting.

Facts

The complete package ‘Live casting / Video casting’ includes:

Creation of the initial sed card proposals (call for proposals from different agencies)
Compilation of a pre-selection from all sed card proposals
Schedule planning & communication with agencies and applicants
Organization of a suitable casting location
Provision of a casting director for the casting day(s)
Video recording of the applicants (including technical equipment & camera operator)
Editing, labelling and upload of the video material for the client
Communication and booking of client’s favorite applicants

E-Casting

According to the client briefing, we initiate a casting call with various agencies from the respective region (or nation-wide if needed). Following this, we make a pre-selection from all the suggestions we received and will send out the respective sed cards to the client.
Besides letting us know the role requirements, the client tells us the number of e-castings they want to receive, and selects their favorites subsequently.

The package ‘E-Casting’ includes:

Creation of the initial sed card proposals (call for proposals from different agencies)
Compilation of a pre-selection from all sed card proposals
Briefing and requesting e-castings from pre-selected applicants
Collection and sorting of received e-castings
Re-labelling and upload of the video material for the client
Communication and booking of client’s favorite applicants

Social media casting / internal JIC casting

We regularly publish our current casting calls and searches on our website, via our newsletter, and on our social media accounts. This way, we offer potential applicants the option for a speculative application. As an addition to our other casting options and in communication with our client, we offer our social media range to reach possible applicants.

In addition to the publicized profiles, JUST IN CAST also has access to a comprehensive database of professional artists as well as a pool of amateurs and semi-professionals. A database research is the starting point of any of our castings.
